Lakers Roster For 2002
2002 Graduates Matt Herr: is a solid defensive second baseman, and a clutch hitter. Matt was part of the 2000 Championship season. Freddy Lastra: a hard hitting third baseman will be missed for his quiet leadership and overwhelming bat. Aalok Parikh: has been a very reliable outfielder for the Lakers over the past two seasons. We will miss his energy and ability to get a big hit. Paul Seigel: has been a great player for the Lakers for three seasons, including the 2000 Championship season. Paul was extremely versatile, playing outfield, first base and pitcher. David Vespole: for the past 2 seasons has been the field general behind the plate. We will miss his hard nosed leadership and his ability to catch a great game. Lakers Roster For 2003
2003 Graduates Andrew German - Drew has been an exceptionally solid catcher behind the plate. His leadership and strong bat for three years are appreciated. Joe Remick - Joe was a quiet leader on the Lakers, respected by all players. His smooth fielding, clutch pitching and overall "instink" were his strengths. Mike Schlenoff - Coming to the Lakers in 2003 Mike made a great impact this season as a fine outfielder. But it was through his solid pitching, where he truly made his mark. Adam Schrak- Adam has been a solid infielder over the last 2 seasons. We will miss his sense of humor and his great base running. Mark Vespole - At second base, on the base paths, or at the plate, Mark's persistence and speed had made him a great addition to the team. Lakers Roster For 2004
2005 Graduates Dan Herr - The third and last of the Herr brothers who played for the Lakers. We relied on Dan's great leadoff hitting and excellent base-running as well as his solid play at second and short. Dan's wit and leadership will be missed. Adam Lepkowski - The Lakers will miss Adam's solid play at first base for his two years here as well as his excellent pitching. Adam's strong arm and big hitting were his strengths. We will always remember his hard work as well as his bandana. Alex Hayworth - Alex came the Lakers in 2004 after a fine Babe Ruth career on other teams. He was a welcome addition to this years team with his steady playing in the outfield as well as his fantastic relief pitching. Ozzie Cruz - Also joining the Lakers in 2004, Ozzie came to us as both a third baseman and pitcher. We will miss his fine fielding and his powerful hitting. Stephen George - Stephen is an exceptionally talented baseball player. He has amazing base running skills, an excellent bat and plays a phenomenal centerfield.
